An impressively large sandbank lies off St. Peter-Ording. This unique landscape makes it possible to discover the "gold of the North Sea" after a storm or high tide: Amber!
Together with Holger from Naturerlebnis SPO, you will embark on a tour lasting around two hours, during which I will show you the best places to find amber and explain what you need to look out for in order to find it yourself. You will learn how amber is formed, why it is so often washed up here and what tricks real amber hunters use.
The whole thing is an exciting experience for young and old - an adventure that will delight the whole family and, with a bit of luck, you'll take your own amber treasure home with you!
