The German Life Saving Association (DLRG) and NIVEA organise an annual beach festival tour on the North Sea and Baltic coasts to get children fit for the water and teach them important bathing rules.
Volunteer entertainers from the DLRG teach these rules through games and stories - and it works! Fewer and fewer children are drowning every year!
That alone is reason enough to attend and provide yourself and your children with important tips and information.
For even more entertainment, there are activities such as Punch and Judy shows, bouncy castles and the "Joyrobic", where the beach is coloured blue for a moment with 1000 blue NIVEA beach balls.
