Everything for the dog
Don't want your four-legged friend to miss out on your holiday? We love cuddly four-legged friends and look forward to your visit!
Dogs at the Beach Motel
- Please only walk your dog outside the motel grounds.
- Dogs must be kept on a lead outside the motel grounds.
- Other travellers may be allergic to your hair - so please keep your distance from carpets, upholstery and curtains (otherwise the Beach Motel will have to charge your owner extra if you fail to do so or in the event of special cleaning).
- Sleeping in bed or on the sofa? Not with us please - we also have great and cosy dog beds for that...
- As the bathtubs are easily scratched by long claws, please only allow your owner to use them.
- You may also accompany your owner to breakfast. You can use the breakfast areas in the lobby and in the event corridor (directly behind the Beach Lounge in the Cape Cod building).
- It would be great if you were not in your room while housekeeping is on duty.
And if you stick to the rules, we have the following service for you: If your master needs some time to himself: Just let us know at reception - with so many dog lovers in the team, there's bound to be someone who will be happy to look after you.
Dogs on the beach
In St. Peter-Ording, you can let off steam on the beach without a lead in two huge dog exercise areas. These areas are located on the beach near the districts of St. Peter-Bad (south of the pier) and Ording (north of the nudist beach). Your masters or mistresses can download a corresponding map below.
In all other public areas, you are allowed to go almost anywhere on a lead. And remember to give your owner a nudge to make sure they dispose of your waste properly, whether on the beach, on the pavement or on the dyke.
Dogs in the hotel

Whether it's long walks on the kilometre-long sandy beach, a fresh sea breeze around your nose or simply chilling out on the terrace - here, two- and four-legged friends can enjoy the real beach life together. St. Peter-Ording is a paradise for dogs: there are special dog beaches here where your furry friends can run around and jump into the water to their heart's content.
To make your stay as relaxed as possible, we ask you to register your dog at the time of booking. We charge a small fee of €20 per dog per night - in return, you'll have lots of new favourite places to discover!
